Vincennes

    Vincennes was founded in the 12th century thanks to Louis VII who came to hunt the big game, and decided to build on the current castle’s location a residence to rest.

   Vincennes is situated in the Val-de-Marne department, in Paris eastern suburbs. The city took its name from the Vincennes woods situated south of the city, and is today famous for its castle and its big zoo.
The city offers many others activities: the floral park, the racecourse and the numerous tables outside cafés are a pleasant place to stroll. The city is very well served by public transportation with numerous buses, the RER A line as well as the subway line 1, which allow you to reach Paris in only a few minutes.

   Created with the royal decree of August 19th, 1831, Joinville-le-Pont is first of all known over the world to be the ' City of the cinema '. It is also well-known for the famous open-air dance halls along the Marne river banks where, for more than a century, people come to dance and to have a good time.
